Five nonprofits pitch.The room funds them.
MissionPitch is an accelerator for nonprofit leaders across greater San Antonio — Social Venture Partners San Antonio and Geekdom running the startup world’s playbook for organizations that are not startups. This is the night it ends.
Five take the stage: ABODE Contemplative Care for the Dying, Bexar Branches Alliance, For Her, the San Antonio Book Festival and Black Outside, Inc. They pitch their work to the room, and the room donates live.
Free, and seated through MissionPitch’s own registration rather than the week’s — their page is the one holding the count.
More than a pitch competition, in their own framing: a bridge. Unrestricted funding on one side, a room of people who can give time and expertise on the other, and a few weeks of coaching to make the ask land. Powered by the San Antonio Area Foundation, with Kronkosky and the H.E. Butt Foundation.
One pitch on our stage can be the catalyst that secures a new board member, a dedicated volunteer, or the funding needed to reach the next milestone.
