Renato Raposo is the founder of OCA Foods — and like most great food stories, this one starts with a memory. Growing up in São Paulo, Brazil, Renato shared paçoca with his father — a simple, beloved peanut treat. When he moved to the United States, he couldn't find anything like it on American shelves. Everything was overcomplicated, over processed, or just not the same. After the passing of his father in 2022, that memory became a mission. Renato left a successful tech career to build OCA Foods — a clean, simple peanut butter bite inspired by paçoca. Three ingredients. Thirty grams of protein. Nothing to hide. Today, OCA is sold at H-E-B, HomeGoods, 60+ independent retailers nationwide, and Erewhon coming soon. Winner of the 2025 HEB Quest for Texas Best and the 2026 Austin FC Dream Starter Competition.
